Spring Flowers Art

Picked and drawn from life after a walk in the woods, this image is part of a new 'Celebrating Spring ' range of ink and watercolour drawings. All the little delicate flowers that grow in the woodland floor in early spring, celandines, Herb Robert, Wood Anemones all inspired this picture. Early Bumble bees enjoy their pollen, the Indian ink background throws the colours forward. This range is my response as a visual artist to this terrible Coronavirus , in the hope that it will cheer people up and help them look at nature as it unfurls in spring.
